I didn't upload this, but I found it on Youtube, and know some people were interested in seeing it. But, yeah. I didn't upload it, I'm not that cool.

This post is for Harry Potter, My Twin.
I know that there are alot of people who Loves the boy wizard and alot more who claim that they are the number one fan. Whoever you are, whichever category I fall into- --I dont care what you think. Why should I? Anyway. Before I start, let me just state: THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS THE "NEXT HARRY POTTER"

I do not know if its just me but everytime I see this statement/tag alongside a great book (Yes, i will mention it. Twilight and Artemis fowl for example BUT IVE READ THEM and both are exceptional) I feel the urge to tell everyone to stop STEREOTYPING Harry potter. Yes, it is great honor for Mrs. Rowling that harry potter is somewhat the " standard " for a book/movie to be a hit. Its like, If you can beat harry potter then you are EXCELLENT. Like, HP is this big wall you have to crush. I love Harry Potter but please stop using it to GET PUBLICITY!!! If the book/movie is really THAT GOOD as you claim, then it doesn't need " HARRY POTTER" next to it in any way. It is bad not only for harry potter but also for the other books/movies who want to make it into the industry alone without the fear that they will be pitted against the monstrous potter. Yes, HP is one of the greatest and most popular (not to mention, most BOUGHT) fictional series (as a children's book mind you,) but PLEASE STOP using it as a basis. PLEASE stop dragging poor harry's name everytime you get the chance just to give people the notion that it is "great" or whatever.



 

Books are like people, Unique in their own special way. Let us not turn them into humans and pit them against each other. DO NOT set a standard, cause creativity does not have any standard.
 
HARRY POTTER WILL NEVER be replaced. cause there is no one in this world who will/can/attempt to write something like HP and create this world that we never imagined.
 
There are other books, BETTER (in view of others and critics) than HP.
DO NOT use HP as a basis of a movie/book's success.

 



 

You may hate HP but i love it. I dont want it dragged down by some.. some *dont mention* stuff. (hahaha! nice choice of words there,) To anyone whose joy in life is to degrade HARRY POTTER, whose purpose in life is to tell the world how greatly the potter fandom is declining then let me tell you this: CRUCIATUS CURSE men. CRUCIATUS CURSE.

Yup, that's the purpose of my life. XDD Anyway, this time, I bring what might possibly be two good news.

One. I wrote to Tablo on his radio program website. Yup, I did it. And I mentioned this community, how there are Epik High fans outside of Korea, and how they all really want the English one to be published. I asked the question again just to make sure, whether Blo will get my post or not, who knows. Will just have to wait and see. And I asked for Blo's headphone. Not that I'll get it but you can't blame me for trying.

I even gave the community's url ... in case Blo would like to feel some overseas luff ... XDD And as the last request, I asked for 낙화 because after translating NYLON article, I remembered some people saying they liked how Blo mentioned that song since it's a nice song and all.


Two. How many of you actually want to buy Tablo's book, the Korean one? How many of you are actually willing to buy it if there's a chance? I'm trying to sort some mess I've got into over PayPal but if that gets sorted, I could order the book from Yes24 for you and get it sent to your place directly once you've made payment to me. How does that sound? There are a few things I need to do with PayPal before it's possible but it's a suggestion for those who want it but can't get it. I'm thinking maybe 7 GBP/ 12 USD + shipping cost which will be different depending on your country. If there are people who want it, I'll make another post with more details. If PayPal's not your thing, I think the only other way is for you to send the money in post. Plus I'm not sure how long it will take for me to sort out the bank account mess in PayPal or if it ever will.

So people. Shout out to me. Tell me if you want it. If there are just one or two, I'll contact you privately. If there seems to be a fair amount of demand, I'll post another entry with proper details and all.

By the way... Shipping is NOT cheap. Bear that in mind.

It came!  
I got my copy of Tablo's 당신의 조각들! XDD Rest your minds at ease, fans... there aren't that many pictures :D And the pictures are, in a cryptic sorta way, relevant to the short novel that it goes with. I hadn't had time to properly read it yet but from what I've seen in glimpses, it looks GOOD, as in literature-wise. Each has the first line in English then the Korean part follows.

If you guys want, I can try to scan some parts but... it depends how much of abuse I have to put the binding through for decent scans. I'm sure you all understand my reluctance to ruin Tablo's book I got just today ^^;; God... I can't wait for the original English version to be out XD

Ah and as you might know... there's handwritten message inside the book from Tablo. It's my first time seeing his handwriting and it's quite... neat and mature... :) If I can't scan it, I'll take a few pictures of the book. If you guys want to see. :P

I need to find TK.  

I want to see if he'll perform at my school's Multicultural Festival. You know him - Taeyeon "TK" Kim, boogaloo popper extraordinaire - but I don't have any idea as to how I can contact him.

Anyone know anything? Do you have any friends who do? Even if you're friends with someone who knows Henry - that's a lead, at least.

EDIT: askjfsdgij I FOUND HIS YOUTUBE PAGE 8D if I was smart, I would've looked there first... Anyways, I'm going to try to send him a message through youtube and see what happens. :D It seems like a better plan, and I think he's pretty active - it said his last sign in was yesterday.

On a related and fangirly note, I glanced at his favourite videos, and - brace yourself! - there were a bunch of Henry's videos, including his Julia performance at 100 days! I freaked out, and then freaked out even more when I saw that TK, the adorable guy that he is, actually gave all of Henry's videos 5 stars.

Time to write fanfiction >D!!!

about Tablo's book again  
I went to the book-signing at Kyobo bookstore the Jamsil branch yesterday evening. I mainly wanted to ask him about the possibility of an english version being published. I fully expected him to say it wouldn't be published but to my utter surprise he said it's expected to be out next February! ^0^

so there you have it peeps! if there aren't any delays, we should be able to read his work in its original form, in Feb. ^^
I'm so freakin' elated!!!! =DDD
